Supercharged Realtor

  1. Referrals

As a realtor, I know it’s okay to ask for referrals. As part of your marketing, offer referral gifts. You can also give thoughtful client gifts, such as a gift card to a stellar restaurant or a package for unpacking & organizing. Feel free to use branded materials as well. The more often you get your name and face “out there,” the better!

As a realtor in Great Falls, Montana, I have found referrals are the best way to find new clients. The clients I enjoy working with become my special people, and they send others like themselves to get help from me. It is the best screening process, and I love my people!

2. Blog

Even if you don’t feel like the most seasoned writer, you can try it. Sometimes, simply getting your thoughts down on paper (or your laptop) is a great start. Brainstorm ideas for realtor blog articles. Blogging pushes you to research topics you are curious about, and you’ll inevitably learn more about the real estate industry. Perhaps you could write about how to have a successful realtor open house or tips to prepare a home to sell.

I would have told you a year ago that I am a terrible writer. With each blog post I write, I become more confident. I am enjoying the process and learning so much more about my passion for real estate, beliefs, family, marriage, health and wellness, and entrepreneurship in my blog research. Find a topic you love and enjoy becoming an expert in your writing.

3. Time Management

People in all fields need to improve this, especially realtors & entrepreneurs. With technology contributing to many distractions, you must have an organizational system that works for you. What does your ideal day look like as a realtor? Are your days, months, and years planned? Of course, changes will occur because life happens. A basic structure to your day will help you stay on track to meet your real estate goals. Realtors are no longer at their desks all day. Make a plan to have time for spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial success.

In the mornings, I can tackle three out of five of the most essential things on my daily list. I strive to become a happier and healthier individual. This means waking up early before anyone else to enjoy peace in my home. This is when I read my devotions, pray, and start my day. Then I work out. Within two hours, I have met my spiritual, emotional, and physical goals so that the rest of the day, as I work, I do not stress about not completing those essential tasks. Over the years, I have found that the most important tasks need to be satisfied with managing my time. Those tasks are what give me the greatest fulfillment in my life. My spiritual, mental, physical, and financial health help me benefit where I can be the best version of myself to my husband, children, and relationships with people. The greatest gifts I have.

4. Social Media

If you’re not big on social media, it’s time to get interested. The more people see your face, name, and properties for sale, the greater the chance they’ll remember to contact you. Congratulate a new homeowner on Instagram with a chic photo of house keys and mountains. Give a live tour of a home you have on the market. The possibilities are endless, and social media is a perfect way to advertise the great things you are doing in the real estate market.

I am an introvert, and this is one of the things I never thought I would see myself doing. But it works! A reel posted on social media about a roofing project brought in over $30,000 in income for the renovation business in March of this year. Another reel for one of my real estate listings was in the top 2% of Facebook reels played. I am still trying to understand what this means. Facebook let me know, so I am guessing it is important. I know my real estate listing was under contract in under 48 hours! I still have to overcome butterflies when putting myself on social media. I make it easier by posting about things I love and enjoy. I also like to think of the memories that pop up years later. That way, it’s not only for my followers. It is for my family and me.

5. Staging

Staging is a crucial piece to success in real estate. If you sell a completely unfurnished home, it will take much longer. If you have simple furnishings and decorations in the home, it will feel more cozy. Buyers can envision working in that chic home office or preparing a gourmet meal in that gorgeous updated kitchen.

This blog post is about getting real estate referrals, blogging, managing time, jumping on the social media bandwagon, and staging, all of which are ways to skyrocket your realtor's real estate business. These are crucial actions that can bring success. Choose one item today to complete. The real estate market is excellent for boosting wealth while continuing personal growth. It is always an adventure. Being that I was born and raised in the state of Montana, I love adventures!
